FULLY HINGED

Constructed in Double Channel aluminium with glass reinforced nylong hinges with stainless steel pins. This prevents the corrosion that occurs with metal hinges are used: the rubber seal used can be seen in Diagram 1. When compressed in closed position three seals are making it completely watertight. Quadrants that do not protrude are fitted enabling an opening of any degree to be achieved, screwdown with easy to handle knobs ensure good seal and locking system.

CANAL

Constructed in Double Channel aluminium, utilising the same seal, Quadrant and screwdowns as that used on the fully hinged. This window is used widely in Holland and is only recommended for Canal and River usage.

SLIDING

Constructed in Double Channel aluminium with poly-vinyl carbonate track, used because it does not ruck or rot as canvas does. All windows fitted with Fliplock and Backflap. We recommend that windows slide from forward to aft.

FIXED

Constructed in Single or Double Channel depending on hull thickness, if double channel is used a Black trim is used in all secondary channels.

HALF DROP

Constructed in Double Channel using a poly-vinyl carbonate track as in Sliding windows and can be fitted with screwdown locks or friction lock.

NB: When rubber seal is compressed it creates a three bar seal.

Any combination of the above can be made in any shape or size, all windows are glazed with glass or acrylic to your requirements in clear, grey or bronze and sealed with a 2-part glazing rubber seal, gunned in under 150lbs. per square inch.
